Today, I did a drawing about my dream superpower: the ability to fly. I've had dreams where I can pump my arms and start flying. I really wish I could do that while I was awake as well!

Day 93: Dream Job

This week's theme is dream, so today I decided to draw the character on Bones with my dream job (a forensic pathologist), Dr. Camille (Cam) Saroyan. 

Day 92: Dream Week

I almost forgot to do a blog post today! And I just threw this sketch together super fast, and I am not happy with it as a completed piece (at all!) but it's just a quick sketch so I'm not too upset that it's terrible. I also don't have the time to find a quote I like for today. At least I have something though!

Day 91: Belle

For the last day of comic/cartoon week, I un-cartoonized another Disney character. Today, I drew Belle as I think she may look in real life.

Day 90: Untitled

Obviously, I decided to draw something that doesn't fit in with the week's theme again today. Tomorrow I will, though. It's the last day of the theme, after all.

Day 89: Smize

Obviously this drawing doesn't fit into this week's theme. I just saw this photo and wanted to draw it, so I did.

Day 88: Superhero

Because the theme this week is comic, I tried to draw a superhero in a comic-book style today. 

Day 87: Cruella de Ville

Today, I did something similar to yesterday's by turning another cartoon character into what I imagine them to look like as a real person (even though there is movies that depict her as a real person, this is my own version of what the cartoon Cruella looks like). 

Day 86: The Little Mermaid

Today, I tried to take a cartoon character (Ariel) and turn her into a more realistic person. 

Day 85: Inner Cartoon

This week's theme is comic. Today, I attempted to turn myself into a comic character. I mostly did this by making the eyes disproportionately large, which tends to make things look cartoonish. I didn't make it a complete cartoon or comic because that's not as fun as trying to make something look real. The goal was to make it look just a little bit animated.

Day 82: Sia

I know I haven't really been trying to stick to my theme at all this week (the theme is supposed to be day), but when I think of something/ someone that I want to draw and feel inspired, I've got to go with it. Today, I got the urge to draw Sia, one of my favorite singer/songwriters, so I did. She's such an interesting person! And although I chose a very normal photo of hers to draw, she's very fashionably crazy at times, in an almost Gaga way (she's not a Gaga wanna be or anything, her career was established before Gaga was big). I was just afraid that because she also has semi-similar facial features to Gaga that if I drew a picture of her being a little zanier, people think I was attempting to draw Lady Gaga.

Day 81: Random Sketching

I wasn't inspired to draw anything in particular today. And I've found that when that is the case, whatever I try to draw comes out pretty terrible. So today I just decided to practice sketching some random features.

Day 79: Regina Spektor

This doesn't have anything to do with day, but the idea to draw Regina Spektor occurred to be last week, and I've really wanted to draw her face since then. Her eyes are so interesting, I had to try drawing them! And because I had time today, I decided to attempt a sketch of Regina.
