More quote doodles

Here are some more of the same kind of quote doodles as last time. My wall of quote sketches is growing!

2 of them are the same quote with slightly different drawings because I couldn't decide which sketch I want to use for my wall. (Mom, which do you like best?)

Catching up (Part III: Quotes)

Something I've been doing a lot of over the last few days are these little doodles with quotes. They're a lot of fun and very quick (don't take more than 3-5 min each).

Side note: Once I finish cleaning my room today I think I'm going to start hanging these on my wall. I still have a huge amount of blank wall space despite the fact that I already have a lot of posters hanging up. My ceiling is almost absurdly high, so it takes a lot to fill up a wall.

Catching up (Part II: Portraits)

I haven't been doing a ton of drawing portraits, but these are the portraits I've drawn over the last 2 weeks. I've been drawing a lot (most) of them from just my brain rather than looking at a picture (except for a few, such as the portrait of Twiggy), which is probably why most of the faces I've drawn recently tend to look the same. I'm working on being able to draw a variety of faces without looking at different pictures.
I've also been doing a lot of my drawing in ink lately. For some reason, I'm just finding it more fun at the moment.

Catching up (Part I: Doodles)

Just because I haven't been posting much doesn't mean I haven't been drawing. I just haven't been taking the time to actually post anything. And then the longer I wait, the less likely I am to take the time to post because there's so much catching up to do.
So here is part I of me catching up with all the posting that I've been neglecting to do. Part I is just going to be a few doodles from class.

As you can see, my go-to doodles tend to be faces or trees.

Fresh start

"You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing that we call 'failure' is not the falling down, but the staying down."
-Mary Pickford

This is vaguely based on an ad I saw that I really liked.

EDM Challenges and a Portrait

I've only gotten around to drawing a few times over the last week or two, and I'm finally posting them now.

The first one is an EDM challenge I did a while ago. EDM Challenge #4: draw your mug or cup.

The second thing I've drawn is another EDM Challenge. I skipped a few because I was at work study when I draw it and the things I wanted to draw for EDM challenges 5, 6, and 7 were not with me. EDM Challenge #8  is draw your watch or other piece of jewelry:

And today, I decided to draw something that wasn't an EDM challenge:

EDM Challenge 3: Purses, Wallets, or Bags

I originally started drawing my bag, but it just seemed so boring. So I decided to draw my Vera Bradley wallet instead. Mostly because I love the shape of keys, and I keep all five of my keys chained to it.

EDM Challenge 2: Draw a desk lamp or other lamp

I can't say lamps are the most interesting thing in the world to draw. Although at least my own desk lamp is a lovely shade of green.

EDM Challenge 1: Draw a Shoe

I found something today called the Everyday Matters Challenges. There are over 300 of them, and today I'm going to start them from the beginning. Number one is draw a shoe. So, here is a drawing of my feet:
